A Message To The Community?

Wed Aug 10, 2005, 3:56 AM
:llama:

Interesting timing for a llama emote to show up on the site. I wonder what message that $spyed is trying to give the community by introducing this emote during this rough time.

Wikipedia states the following about llamas:

Many llamas can be easily annoyed or scared. Typically, they are a bit timid or standoffish in nature. If annoyed they make a clucking noise as they are spitting up stomach acid. If a llama is agitated, they will lay their ears back. The disagreeable habit of spitting in the face of persons whose presence annoys them is common to all llamas, as may be witnessed in specimens in confinement in zoos. This is a defense mechanism. However, usually, a llama would prefer to run away than to confront their assumed aggressor, and is not always a frequent occurrence.

Emphasis added is mine.

Is $spyed trying to tell us, the community something?

Oh the irony.

I can tell you what he is not saying to the community: he is not answering the very questions that you have asked.

Of all the things that have been worked on in the backend, some for as long as 2 years, this is what they give us. A llama emote? :disbelief:

Surprised? I did not think so.

What the community would like to see are all the bugs actually worked on rather than summarily ignored. What about seeing the missing features from DAv2 make a return?

Oh wait; those were removed and never returned so that they can be capitali$ed on at some point in the future, when only a small, but vocal, few actually remember them. This is how the community will be fleeced.

Sad, but true.

But anyhow, enough of my rambling.

Read this interesting piece of detective work by my friend `justthorne. It may be a long read but it well worth it. My :twocents: anyhow.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcom X
They were renegades of their time and age
The mighty Renegades..." - ZDLR

But llama's do rock, you have to admit.
:iconmoonbeam13:
It was added at the request of the new senior member `lemontea along with some other features he thought would help out.

$lolly's journal has the rest.

Take care.
